If you have a question, please feel free to send us an enquiry. Sweet Betsy is old school so she loves it when you pick up the phone and gives her a call as she is always excited to hear about up and coming events and how she can be a part of your party plans, because who doesn’t love a good party?
How Do I Book?
It’s so easy, phone us on 0401083232, where we can chat about the details of your event and then we can email you a formal quote. We do require a 50% deposit to secure a booking and the remaining balance is due 30 days before the event.
Do You Have Cancellation Fees?
I hate to say it, but yes we do… Once we confirm your date with you it is yours and we take no other bookings, no matter how many offers we have to come play. Your deposit is non-refundable and should the cancellation occur within 30 days of the booked event you could be liable for a further 25% of the booking fee. Betsy doesn’t like to disappoint, but we have begun the process of ordering for your event and as other organisations charge us with cancellation fees we have to do the same to make sure those costs are covered. Betsy will endeavour to be compassionate towards your circumstances wherever possible, so please reach out to her and let her know.
Sweet Betsy does not provide refunds in the case of bad weather, so please make sure you have a wet weather plan and we will work with the event host to help with those arrangements. Please give us enough notice if the venue has changed and ensure there is enough room for Betsy’s arrival.
What Time Do You Arrive?
Don’t worry Betsy doesn’t like to be tardy for any event and we won’t be running around getting ready when your guests arrive. We aim to arrive up to 2 hours beforehand to properly set up and be ready to serve.
We Need A Caravan Bar At Our Function
We have you covered. Let us style Betsy for your next event. A beautiful looking bar with a retro feel is the perfect addition to your corporate day, expo, conference, fete, fair, festival or community event.
Can You Do Park Parties?
If your party is at a venue other than a private residence, you are responsible for the booking and must provide confirmation of payment and permission from your local council. We also need 15 amp power for refrigeration and lighting, so access is required.
Can We Book Betsy For A Product Launch?
Yes, you can. Betsy is always enthusiastic to do something different and to work with businesses for charity events or creative days. Create an amazing look and host your festivity how you’d like it. If you would like to brand Betsy, please let us know and we can organise this with you and how best to market it.
What Do You Need To Have Ready?
Betsy doesn’t need water as we supply that prior to the event, but we do need access to power so we can have her fully functioning. We do have a generator which we are happy to use, though it can be noisy which takes the ambience out of your event.
Do You Provide Chairs and Tables?
Unfortunately, not as we don’t have the storage space and Betsy maybe curvy but she is small. Having said that we are happy to organise for you especially if you would like it themed a particular way as we have access to some of the best event organisers in New South Wales.
What Are Betsy Measurements?
Well you should never ask a girl about her size, but Betsy is approximately 2 meters wide, 4.6 meters long including the trailer and 2.4 meters high. Please remember we will need to tow her into your venue. Please make sure the site is flat and clear with ease of access so we can set up and then part our towing vehicle out of sight.
Just to reassure you, any information collected is used for communication and you will be added to the Betsy Subscriber list. You can unsubscribe at any time. We do not rent, share or sell your information so it is safe with us.
How Much Does It Cost to Hire?
Our packages start at $500, we do recommend you pick up that phone and call us with your request as each event can be different. You can email us at email@example.com with your details, but please make sure you add a contact number, because Betsy would like to chat with you if she needs too.
What Do You Supply?
A fully functional Vegan/Vegetarian Café and Bar with 2 RSA trained staff, glassware (which includes wine glasses, champagne flutes, tumblers for up to 100 people. Eskies and ice, 2 x Mason Drinks Jars as well as decorative vintage items.
Theming and props are an additional cost and can be discussed in detail with you.
Where is Betsy located?
Sweet Betsy is located in a quiet seaside village called Pretty Beach on the Central Coast of New South Wales, where she likes to rest after a big event. But don’t let that make you question her capabilities as she is happy to travel and she will even cover you for up to 70 kilometres, before she has to add a little extra to cover costs.
